Delete your account
Cloud Care Networks · operated by Cloud Care LLC
You can delete your Cloud Care Networks account and the personal information attached to it at any time. This page explains how to do it, exactly what gets removed, and the small amount we are legally required to keep.
Deleting your account ends your service immediately.
Every active plan on your account is cancelled straight away and your devices stop connecting — not at the end of the month you have already paid for. This cannot be undone, and deleted accounts cannot be restored. If you only want to stop being billed, cancel your plan instead by calling +1 (224) 636-8890.
How to delete your account
There are three ways, and all three do the same thing.
On the web
Sign in at cloudcarenetworks.com/account, open Settings, and use Delete account at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to type your email address to confirm. In the Cloud Care app
Open the Account tab and choose Delete Account, then confirm.By email
Write to support@cloudcarenetworks.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We action these within 30 days and will confirm by reply. Use this route if you have lost access to the email address you sign in with, and tell us how to reach you.
What is deleted
The moment a deletion completes, we remove:
- Your name, email address, and phone number. The email is replaced with an anonymous placeholder, which also frees the address to be used for a new account later.
- Your saved payment methods. Your customer record is deleted at our payment processor, Stripe, which detaches any stored card.
- Every sign-in session, on every browser and device, along with any browsers you had asked us to remember.
- Push notification registrations for the mobile app.
- Contact details of anyone you assigned a device to — their name, email, and phone are cleared from your lines.
- Your marketing and notification preferences.
What we keep, and why
Two categories of record survive deletion. Neither is linked to your name or email once the deletion has run — they are anonymised business records, not a profile of you.
- Billing and invoice history. Invoices are retained by Stripe and referenced in our records to meet tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations. We cannot delete a financial record for a payment that was actually taken.
- Anonymised service records — that a line existed, which device and plan it ran on, and its usage totals. These are required to reconcile what our carrier partners billed us, and they no longer identify you.
Security audit logs are kept for up to 365 days, after which the IP addresses in them are erased. Where a law requires a longer retention period, that period applies.
Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
Deletions started in the app or on the web happen immediately — your service is cancelled and your personal information is removed as the request completes. Requests sent by email are actioned within 30 days.
If your account still has an unpaid balance or a payment we cannot cancel cleanly, we will tell you rather than half-delete the account: your data stays exactly as it was until the problem is resolved.
