About This Device

Some vehicles must show nothing: no fins, no whips, no clue there is communications equipment aboard. The Panorama BMP1 bumper-mount antenna was designed for exactly those operations. It installs inside the vehicle's bumper or fender using adhesive or screw fixing - no drilled body panels - and is completely invisible from outside the car. The slim, robust over-molded element covers 698-960 MHz and 1710-2700 MHz, spanning the core LTE bands, and additionally works across the 762-870 MHz ranges used by 700/800 MHz public-safety systems - a meaningful detail for unmarked law-enforcement and government vehicles that pair covert LTE with LMR. Gain is a realistic 2 dBi with a full 360-degree omnidirectional pattern, so orientation inside the bumper is not critical. A generous 5 m (16.4 ft) integrated lead terminated in an SMA plug reaches from the bumper to trunk-mounted routers, modems, or radio equipment without splices. The over-molded construction shrugs off the vibration, moisture, and road debris that live behind a bumper skin. For agencies and integrators building unmarked or protection vehicles, the BMP1 is a proven way to keep a data link up while the vehicle stays visually clean - and at this price point it is easy to fit across an entire covert fleet.
