About This Device
The Panorama BS[G]M tube family is the workhorse external antenna for 4G/5G fixed wireless: a rugged white radome, a supplied bracket that handles wall, rail, or mast mounting with the included screws, plugs, and clamps, and wideband elements that keep one SKU relevant across carriers and refresh cycles. The BS-IN2729 configuration provides 2x2 mimo coverage across 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz.
Its omnidirectional pattern means no aiming: mount it in an elevated position and it pulls signal from whichever tower serves best, with up to 6 dBi peak gain. Coverage spans low-band 600 MHz (n71) through sub-6 GHz 5G at 6 GHz, so LTE Cat routers and 5G gateways alike get full-band service.
Two separately fed elements with strong isolation feed both antenna ports of a MIMO router properly - the difference between marketing MIMO and measured throughput. Integrated coaxial cable terminates in N-type jacks (female) (0.5 m, 1.6 ft). Bundled with the antenna is a matched low-loss extension set: 10 m (33 ft) C240 cables terminated N-type male to SMA male, engineered so the elevated antenna reaches rack- or desk-mounted routers with minimal signal loss and no field termination work. Suitable for external or internal installation, the antenna serves FWA sites, vessels, smart-grid cabinets, and IoT enclosures that need dependable, weatherable RF.
