Key Features

  • Connect FME female-terminated equipment to FME male ports in one tested, ready-made 10 m run
  • Skip field crimping - both connectors are fitted and checked at the factory
  • Protect weak cellular and GPS signals with double-shielded CS23 coax that outperforms generic RG58/AU
  • Route the flexible 5 mm cable through tight dashboard, cabinet, and tray paths without kinking
  • Match the assembly length to the run and avoid the loss penalty of coiled excess cable
  • Standardize your installs on Panorama assemblies to keep connectors, cable, and quality consistent fleet-wide

About This Device

The Panorama C23F-10FP is a 10 m (32.8 ft) CS23 coaxial cable assembly terminated with an FME female connector on one end and an FME male on the other. CS23 is Panorama's double-shielded 5 mm coaxial cable and a low-loss alternative to standard RG58/AU. The double screen keeps ignition noise and adjacent-cable interference out of the antenna feed, while the flexible jacket takes the tight bends of dashboards, equipment cabinets, and cable trays without kinking. The FME female end matches the standard comms and antenna ports used across Panorama's antenna range, so the assembly drops straight onto FME-terminated antenna leads and diplexers. The FME male end mates with the FME female leads fitted to many Panorama antennas, and its slim threaded body pulls through grommets, conduit, and panel holes without needing an oversized opening. As with any coax, plan the shortest run that reaches: extra length adds loss you cannot get back. Route the cable away from high-current wiring where practical, avoid tight kinks at the connector boots, and leave a small service loop at the equipment end. Panorama Antennas has designed and manufactured antenna systems and RF cable assemblies since 1947, and every CS23 assembly ships with its connectors fitted and tested before it leaves the factory - eliminating the most common failure point in field-built coax.
