Key Features

  • Connect FME female-terminated equipment to SMA male ports in one tested, ready-made 5 m run
  • Skip field crimping - both connectors are fitted and checked at the factory
  • Protect weak cellular and GPS signals with double-shielded CS23 coax that outperforms generic RG58/AU
  • Route the flexible 5 mm cable through tight dashboard, cabinet, and tray paths without kinking
  • Match the assembly length to the run and avoid the loss penalty of coiled excess cable
  • Standardize your installs on Panorama assemblies to keep connectors, cable, and quality consistent fleet-wide

About This Device

Panorama's C23F-5SMAP covers the gap between antenna and radio with 5 m (16.4 ft) of CS23 coax, factory-terminated FME female to SMA male. The CS23 cable underneath is Panorama's 5 mm double-shielded coax, specified as a low-loss alternative to RG58/AU. Two layers of screening suppress pickup from ignition systems and neighboring wiring, and the flexible construction routes cleanly through vehicles and enclosures. The FME female end matches the standard comms and antenna ports used across Panorama's antenna range, so the assembly drops straight onto FME-terminated antenna leads and diplexers. The SMA male end threads onto the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways, including Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi, Peplink, and Sierra Wireless hardware. Keep installation habits simple: choose the shortest length that completes the run, avoid crushing or kinking the cable at panel exits, and dress it away from power looms where you can. A short service loop at each end makes future service painless. Panorama Antennas has designed and manufactured antenna systems and RF cable assemblies since 1947, and every CS23 assembly ships with its connectors fitted and tested before it leaves the factory - eliminating the most common failure point in field-built coax.
