Key Features

  • Connect SMA male-terminated equipment to RP-SMA male ports in one tested, ready-made 15 m run
  • Skip field crimping - both connectors are fitted and checked at the factory
  • Preserve signal over long runs with ultra-low-loss 6.1 mm CS240 double-screened coax
  • Route the flexible 6.1 mm cable through tight dashboard, cabinet, and tray paths without kinking
  • Match the assembly length to the run and avoid the loss penalty of coiled excess cable
  • Meet in-building safety expectations with the flame-retardant, zero-halogen jacket

About This Device

The Panorama C240SP-15SMARV is a 15 m (49.2 ft) CS240 coaxial cable assembly terminated with an SMA male connector on one end and an RP-SMA male on the other. CS240 is Panorama's ultra-low-loss 6.1 mm double-screened coaxial cable, built for longer runs where thinner coax would give up too much signal before it reaches the radio. A flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket adds a margin of safety for in-building runs where cable fire behavior is regulated. The SMA male end threads onto the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways, including Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi, Peplink, and Sierra Wireless hardware. The RP-SMA male end mates with the RP-SMA female ports common on Wi-Fi access points, routers, and some IoT gateways; reverse polarity swaps the center contact, so check your port before ordering. As with any coax, plan the shortest run that reaches: extra length adds loss you cannot get back. Route the cable away from high-current wiring where practical, avoid tight kinks at the connector boots, and leave a small service loop at the equipment end. Panorama Antennas has designed and manufactured antenna systems and RF cable assemblies since 1947, and every CS240 assembly ships with its connectors fitted and tested before it leaves the factory - eliminating the most common failure point in field-built coax.
