About This Device

When an antenna cannot sit next to the equipment it feeds, the cable in between decides how much signal actually arrives. The Panorama C240SP-6SMARV covers that gap with 6 m (19.7 ft) of CS240 low-loss coax, factory-terminated with a threaded SMA male plug and a reverse-polarity SMA male plug. Panorama's CS240 cable is double-shielded 6.1 mm solid-core coax with a flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket, running at the 50-ohm impedance used across cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi RF paths. The larger 6.1 mm solid-core construction is Panorama's answer for longer runs: it holds attenuation down where thinner jumper cable would eat too much signal, in both mobile and fixed installations. Because both connectors are terminated and tested at the factory, you avoid the loss and reliability penalties of field crimping. On the equipment side, the RP-SMA plug mates with the RP-SMA female jacks used on Wi-Fi access points, routers and many consumer gateways. At the other end, the SMA plug connects to the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways from Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi and Peplink. Typical uses include extending Wi-Fi antennas away from routers and access points and placing an antenna outside a cabinet, ceiling void or NEMA enclosure. Route the cable with gentle bends, avoid crushing it under cable ties, and snug threaded connectors evenly to keep the RF joint consistent. For IT teams and installers, a pre-terminated Panorama assembly is the fast path to a clean, repeatable install: pick the length, match the connectors, and skip the crimp tooling entirely.
