When an antenna cannot sit next to the equipment it feeds, the cable in between decides how much signal actually arrives. The Panorama C29FR-FCJ-5FCP-GNS covers that gap with 5 m (16.4 ft) of CS29 FRZH low-loss coax, factory-terminated with a GNSS-coded FAKRA C female jack and a GNSS-coded FAKRA C male plug. Panorama's CS29 FRZH cable is double-screened 5 mm coax with a stranded centre conductor, semi-air-spaced dielectric and a flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket, running at the 50-ohm impedance used across cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi RF paths. The FRZH jacket meets fire-safety requirements where halogen-free, flame-retardant cable is specified, without giving up the flexibility of the stranded centre conductor. Because both connectors are terminated and tested at the factory, you avoid the loss and reliability penalties of field crimping. On the equipment side, the FAKRA C plug mates with FAKRA C female GNSS sockets in automotive telematics equipment. At the other end, the FAKRA C jack connects to FAKRA C male GNSS connectors used in vehicle telematics head units and antennas. Factory-applied GNSS identification labels identify the GNSS feed at a glance, which matters once several near-identical black cables share a conduit, headliner or cabinet. Typical uses include vehicle telematics installs using FAKRA C GNSS connections and fleet tracking hardware that needs a longer run to the GPS antenna. Route the cable with gentle bends, avoid crushing it under cable ties, and snug threaded connectors evenly to keep the RF joint consistent.
