About This Device

When an antenna cannot sit next to the equipment it feeds, the cable in between decides how much signal actually arrives. The Panorama C29SP-1SJ-CELL covers that gap with 1 m (3.3 ft) of CS29 low-loss coax, factory-terminated with a threaded SMA male plug and a threaded SMA female jack. Panorama's CS29 cable is double-screened 5 mm coax with a stranded centre conductor and semi-air-spaced dielectric, running at the 50-ohm impedance used across cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi RF paths. The stranded centre conductor keeps the cable flexible for tight routing, while the double screen holds attenuation low across cellular, GNSS and ISM frequencies. Because both connectors are terminated and tested at the factory, you avoid the loss and reliability penalties of field crimping. On the equipment side, the SMA jack mates with SMA male antenna leads and device pigtails, including most cellular antenna tails. At the other end, the SMA plug connects to the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways from Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi and Peplink. Factory-applied yellow CELL identification labels identify the cellular feed at a glance, which matters once several near-identical black cables share a conduit, headliner or cabinet. Typical uses include extending roof or wall-mounted antenna feeds to a rack-mounted cellular router and repositioning a paddle or dome antenna away from RF-noisy equipment. Route the cable with gentle bends, avoid crushing it under cable ties, and snug threaded connectors evenly to keep the RF joint consistent. For IT teams and installers, a pre-terminated Panorama assembly is the fast path to a clean, repeatable install: pick the length, match the connectors, and skip the crimp tooling entirely.
