About This Device

Some pulls are too tight for any finished connector. The Panorama C74-FP-6 is built for exactly that situation: 6 m (19.69 ft) of RG174 coax with an FME male factory fitted to one end and the other end left bare, so the cable itself - not a connector head - is the widest thing going through the hole. RG174 is the slim, flexible 50-ohm coax of the antenna world: roughly 2.8 mm in diameter, it bends around tight radii and pulls through grommets, door seals, and cable channels that thicker feed line cannot negotiate. The trade-off is higher attenuation per meter, which is why RG174 leads are kept short and used where routability matters more than every last dB. The single factory termination anchors the antenna or adapter side of the run, while the open end is field-terminated after routing with a crimp connector such as Panorama's SC1 series for RG174. In practice the workflow is simple: route the bare end through the grommet, door seal, or conduit, trim to length, and crimp the final connector where the equipment sits. That yields a cleaner installation than oversizing holes to pass a molded connector, and the exact-length finish avoids coiled excess. Cloud Care Networks stocks the C74-FP-6 alongside Panorama's crimp connectors, adapters, and FME-terminated antennas, so installation teams can carry one cable stock and terminate to suit each job.
