RG174 is the slim, flexible 50-ohm coax of the antenna world: roughly 2.8 mm in diameter, it bends around tight radii and pulls through grommets, door seals, and cable channels that thicker feed line cannot negotiate. The trade-off is higher attenuation per meter, which is why RG174 leads are kept short and used where routability matters more than every last dB. This 6 m version carries Panorama's flame-retardant jacket, which offers the performance and flexibility of standard RG174 while meeting the cable fire behavior expected in occupied buildings and vehicles. Thread the FME ends together finger-tight, thread the SMA male onto the router's SMA female antenna port, and the path is complete - no tools, no configuration.
