About This Device

Vehicle platforms wire their antenna circuits in FAKRA - keyed, color-coded snap-lock housings that prevent mis-mating on the production line - while aftermarket routers and antennas speak SMA. The Panorama C74FR-SJ-015FKDJ is the short bridge between the two: 0.15 m of flame-retardant RG174 with a FAKRA code D jack for the cellular-keyed harness side and an SMA female for the equipment side. FAKRA housings are keyed so a code D jack accepts only a matching code D plug, which keeps cellular circuits from being crossed with GPS or broadcast runs during an upfit. The SMA female end accepts the SMA male lead fitted to most cellular antennas and router pigtails. At 150 mm the lead adds negligible loss; it exists to change interfaces, not to add distance. The flame-retardant RG174 jacket suits routing inside cabins and behind panels where cable fire behavior is specified, and factory-molded terminations on both ends stand up to the vibration that kills field-built automotive joints. Cloud Care Networks stocks this lead alongside Panorama's FAKRA cable assemblies and vehicle antennas, so fleet upfitters can keep the harness transitions they need on the shelf and in the truck.
