About This Device
Connector mismatches are among the most common snags in antenna work: the cable ends in one connector family and the equipment expects another. The Panorama CA-NP-SAJ resolves that in a single machined piece, presenting a N male on one side and a SMA female on the other.
The SMA female side accepts the SMA male plug fitted to most cellular antenna cables and router pigtails; the N male side threads into the N female ports standard on boosters, amplifiers, surge arrestors, and bulkhead feedthroughs. Panorama Antennas has manufactured antennas and RF accessories since 1947, and its adapters are machined and checked to the same specification as its antenna lines - worth having when the adapter is the one passive part the whole signal path runs through.
Typical applications include connecting an SMA-terminated antenna run to an N-ported booster or arrestor at the building entry, and adapting test cables between SMA instruments and N-connector devices. Because the adapter is a passive mechanical transition there is nothing to configure - thread it on finger-tight plus a light wrench snug and the path is complete. Each unit ships individually, so service kits can carry the transitions technicians actually meet in the field.
Cloud Care Networks stocks Panorama's adapter range alongside the antennas, cables, and routers they join, so field-service teams can keep the right transitions in the kit and solve connector mismatches on the first visit instead of the second.
