About This Device
Connector mismatches are among the most common snags in antenna work: the cable ends in one connector family and the equipment expects another. The Panorama CA-R-SP-FP resolves that in a single machined piece, presenting a SMA male on one side and a FME male on the other, with a 90-degree elbow between them.
The FME male side threads onto the FME female lead fitted to many mobile and fixed antennas; the SMA male side threads onto the SMA female antenna ports of routers, gateways, and modems, exiting at 90 degrees to the port axis. Panorama Antennas has manufactured antennas and RF accessories since 1947, and its adapters are machined and checked to the same specification as its antenna lines - worth having when the adapter is the one passive part the whole signal path runs through.
Typical applications include vehicle installs where the router sits against a bulkhead with no rear clearance, and compact enclosures where cable bend radius would otherwise be violated at the port. Because the adapter is a passive mechanical transition there is nothing to configure - thread it on finger-tight plus a light wrench snug and the path is complete. Each unit ships individually, so service kits can carry the transitions technicians actually meet in the field.
Cloud Care Networks stocks Panorama's adapter range alongside the antennas, cables, and routers they join, so field-service teams can keep the right transitions in the kit and solve connector mismatches on the first visit instead of the second.
