About This Device

Fleet and public-safety vehicles increasingly carry more than one GNSS consumer — a navigation head unit plus a telematics gateway, an AVL modem, or a timing receiver. Mounting a separate roof antenna for each adds cost, cabling, and clutter. The Panorama DPD-GPS solves this with a purpose-built power divider: one FME antenna input, two FME receiver outputs, covering the 1.56-1.61 GHz range that includes GPS L1 at 1575 MHz along with GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou signals in that band. The critical detail is DC management. Active GNSS antennas are powered by bias voltage from the receiver, and if two receivers both back-feed the same antenna the results are unpredictable. The DPD-GPS allows only one receiver's voltage through to the antenna while still delivering RF to both outputs, so the antenna's LNA powers cleanly and each receiver sees a proper signal. The divider is compact — about 1.9 inches long and 0.6 inches high, roughly 0.2 lb, in a black housing designed for vehicle installation behind dashboards or in equipment trays. FME connectors keep the cabling slim and pair with Panorama's FME-terminated GNSS antenna lines and adapter family. For installers, the result is fewer roof penetrations, shorter install time, and one antenna to maintain instead of two.
