About This Device

Dual-modem routers and high-order 5G gateways need more antenna feeds than conventional housings supply, and that is exactly the problem the LG2MDM8-6-60 solves. Inside its low-profile white enclosure are eight cellular elements covering the 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz range — enough to drive two 4x4 MiMo modems, or one 4x4 modem with ports to spare, across every sub-6 GHz 5G NR and 4G LTE band including 600 MHz Band 71 and mid-band C-band spectrum. Alongside the cellular array sit 2x2 dual-band Wi-Fi elements for local access or Wi-Fi WAN offload, plus 2x GPS/GNSS elements feeds — dual GNSS outputs let each modem or a redundant receiver take its own positioning feed, a requirement on many public-safety and rail platforms. Every element is brought out on its own feed, and the whole array installs through a single mounting point, replacing what would otherwise be a roof full of separate antennas and penetrations. For transit, public-safety, and enterprise fleets standardizing on dual-modem routers, the LG2MDM8-6-60 turns a complex RF installation into one part number: 12 antenna functions, one sealed low-profile housing, and full coverage of current and future sub-6 GHz spectrum.
