About This Device
Panorama's LGMM and LPMM low-profile MIMO antennas assume a reasonably flat mounting surface — and many of the vehicles that need them most do not have one. Panel vans and light commercial vehicles have ribbed, corrugated roofs; SUVs have crowned, curved panels. Bolt a flat-based antenna straight onto either and you get point contact, gaps, and a seal that fails at the first pressure wash.
The LGMM-EXT-R-SLT is Panorama's engineered fix. The kit combines two conformable layers — a semi closed-cell EPDM outer foam pad and a closed-cell silicone inner foam pad — that compress into the roof's ribs and curves, closing the gaps a rigid base would leave. A slotted mounting bush extender completes the kit, carrying the antenna's threaded mount through the added pad thickness (and thicker panels generally) while the slot preserves a path for the cable loom. The result: the antenna clamps evenly, the cables route cleanly, and the penetration seals.
The kit is black to match the antenna line, weighs 0.35 lb, and carries UPC 5055416069832. It is surface-mountable hardware specific to the LGMM/LPMM series — for plain thick panels without ribs, Panorama also offers the M18-EXT-SLT and M18-EXT-XL thread extension kits. For upfitters standardizing connectivity across mixed fleets of vans and SUVs, this adaptor is the difference between one antenna SKU that fits everything and per-vehicle improvisation with sealant.
