About This Device
Teltonika's feature-dense routers - RUT955-class units running cellular WAN, Wi-Fi, GPS tracking, and Bluetooth sensor gateways - normally sprout four antennas from the chassis. The PR1IC970 relocates all four functions into a single weatherized outdoor housing for wall or pole mounting, with leads returning to the router indoors. For telemetry cabinets and remote enclosures this is transformative: cellular and Wi-Fi escape the metal box, GPS finally sees sky, and Bluetooth reaches sensors beyond the cabinet wall. One housing, one mounting job, four radios served.
GPS is the quiet winner here - a receiver that never fixed indoors gets a clean outdoor sky view.
Mount the housing outdoors with open sky above for the GPS element, route the leads inside, and connect each feed to its port - mobile, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth. Seal the penetration and verify fix and signal from the router's status pages.
Cloud Care Networks stocks the Teltonika PR1IC970 alongside the gateways and routers it supports, so IT and field-service teams can consolidate antennas, spares, and replacement hardware on a single order.
