About This Device
A router locked in a cabinet makes a poor access point - its Wi-Fi whips radiate into sheet metal. The PR1KRD30 is Teltonika's magnetic remedy for the dual-band era: a Wi-Fi antenna covering both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on a magnetic base with an integrated cable, so the radiating element relocates to the top of the enclosure, a shelf, or any ferrous surface with line of sight to users. It connects to the router's Wi-Fi antenna port and moves with the site when layouts change - no drilling, no brackets, no facilities ticket.
The Wi-Fi antenna is tuned for dual-band Wi-Fi service and terminates in a Router Wi-Fi antenna port (SMA-type) connector. Covering both bands matters - a 2.4-only remote antenna silently strands the router's faster 5 GHz radio.
Plant the magnetic base on top of the cabinet or a nearby steel surface, route the cable to the router, and thread the connector onto the Wi-Fi port. Coverage improves the moment the element clears the metal.
Cloud Care Networks stocks the Teltonika PR1KRD30 alongside the gateways and routers it supports, so IT and field-service teams can consolidate antennas, spares, and replacement hardware on a single order.
