About This Device
GNSS receivers are unforgiving about sky view, and routers rarely get any. The PR1KSG30 is Teltonika's adhesive-mount GNSS antenna for the RUT955 and RUTX families: a compact element with a peel-and-stick base and integrated cable that relocates satellite reception to a windshield, window, or dash top, then feeds the router's GNSS port over SMA. For fleet telematics on the RUT955 this is often the difference between a track log full of gaps and one clean enough to bill against. Installation is adhesive-only - no holes in the vehicle or the enclosure.
The GNSS antenna is tuned for GNSS positioning service and terminates in a SMA male connector. A stable fix also stabilizes everything derived from it - geofencing, trip logs, and NTP-by-GNSS all inherit the improvement.
Clean the glass or dash surface, stick the element with its view of the sky, route the cable to the router, and thread the SMA onto the GNSS port. Verify satellite count and fix quality from the router's status pages.
Cloud Care Networks stocks the Teltonika PR1KSG30 alongside the gateways and routers it supports, so IT and field-service teams can consolidate antennas, spares, and replacement hardware on a single order.
