About This Device
When a Teltonika router lives inside a control cabinet, kiosk or shallow equipment shelf, the standard straight paddle antennas often collide with panel doors and adjacent gear. The Teltonika PR1US450 solves that packaging problem. It is a compact mobile (cellular) antenna with an angled form factor that screws directly onto the router's SMA antenna port, letting the element sit close to the chassis instead of standing straight up.
Teltonika lists the PR1US450 as compatible with a wide slice of its networking portfolio: the RUT230, RUT240, RUT900, RUT950, RUT955, RUTX09 and RUTX11 cellular routers, the TRB140, TRB141, TRB142, TRB145, TRB250, TRB245 and TRB255 industrial gateways, and the TRM240 modem. That makes it a practical spare or replacement part to standardize on across mixed Teltonika fleets. At roughly 0.02 lb it adds essentially no weight to an installation, and because it is a direct-attach antenna there is no cable run to route, terminate or strain-relieve.
Use the PR1US450 where signal levels are reasonable and the priority is a compact, self-contained install: telemetry cabinets, digital signage enclosures, POS backup connectivity and bench or lab work with TRB gateways. Where the router is buried in a metal enclosure or a weak-signal area, pair the router instead with a cabled external antenna and reserve this antenna for accessible mounting positions.
