About This Device

Fixed installations rarely have a wall outlet nearby. The PR2PL15B is Teltonika's answer for vehicle, cabinet and panel builds where the router must be wired straight into a DC source. One end carries the locking 4-pin connector that mates with the power input on compatible RUT-series routers; the other end is four open wires ready for crimping into ferrules, landing on terminal blocks or splicing into a vehicle harness. Because all four conductors are broken out, the cable carries more than just positive and ground. On routers that expose I/O through the power connector, the extra wires give you access to the input/output pins, so a single cable run can deliver power and a digital input such as an ignition-sense line — a common requirement in fleet installations where the router should power up and shut down with the vehicle. The cable suits the RUT240, RUT241, RUT300, RUT360, RUT950 and RUT951 along with other Teltonika routers that share the same 4-pin power interface; check your model's manual for its pinout before wiring. Since the wires connect directly to your DC source, follow the router's documented input voltage range and fuse the supply line appropriately. For integrators, this part removes the least reliable step of a hardwired build: cutting up a stock power supply and guessing at conductor colors. You get Teltonika's own pinout, strain-relieved molding on the connector end, and clean wire ends to terminate however your enclosure standard requires.
