Teltonika PR2US08M USB 2.0 Type-A to Micro-USB Cable for TRB Gateways and Modems

Teltonika's compact TRB gateways and TRM modems rely on a Micro-USB Type-B port for power and host connectivity, and the PR2US08M is the factory cable for that job. The full-size USB 2.0 Type-A end plugs into a PC, industrial host or USB power source, while the Micro-USB Type-B end mates with the device. With a TRM240 or TRM250 modem, the cable is the data path: plug the modem into a host machine and it enumerates over USB so your application or router OS can use the cellular link. With TRB-series gateways such as the TRB140, TRB141, TRB142, TRB145 and TRB500, the USB connection supports bench configuration and powering from a USB source, which is convenient before the unit is hardwired into its final installation. USB 2.0 signaling is entirely adequate for these devices — cellular WAN traffic and serial console sessions sit comfortably inside USB 2.0 bandwidth. What matters more is conductor quality and a snug connector fit, since a loose Micro-USB joint is a classic source of intermittent modem resets. As a genuine Teltonika accessory, the PR2US08M is built to hold the device's port tolerances. At around 0.07 lb it adds nothing to a field kit.
