About This Device
Panel real estate is a currency, and dense cabinets spend it carefully. The PR5MEC11 is Teltonika's compact DIN rail kit, designed for enclosures where every centimeter of rail matters: retrofits into already-full panels, small wall boxes at remote sites, and OEM machine builds where the enclosure was sized before the router was added.
Functionally it does the same job as the standard PR5MEC00 kit — mechanically fixing a compatible router to cabinet rail so it stays put under vibration, sits at a documented position and unclips for fast service. The difference is footprint: the compact kit is minimal hardware with a low profile, at roughly a quarter of the standard kit's weight. When the choice is between a compact mount and a router resting on top of other equipment, the compact mount wins every time.
Compatibility mirrors the standard kit: RUT230, RUT240, RUT900, RUT950 and RUT955, plus RUTX08, RUTX09, RUTX10 and RUTX11 — one SKU across nine models. The kit contains no electronics; it is purely mechanical mounting hardware, so there is nothing to configure and nothing to fail electrically.
Choosing between the two rail kits is simple: if the panel has room, the standard PR5MEC00 is the default; if rail space or clearance is tight, the PR5MEC11 compact kit fits where the standard kit will not. Either way the router ends up where industrial equipment belongs — secured to the rail, not loose in the box.
