An outdoor antenna is a surge collector as much as a signal collector: nearby lightning and switching transients induce energy on the feed line, and the first semiconductor that energy meets is usually inside your radio or router. The Panorama SA-SP-SJ puts a sacrificial line of defense in that path - a single-strike gas discharge surge arrestor that diverts transient energy to ground before it reaches the equipment. Electrically it stays out of the way: the arrestor operates up to 5.8 GHz with low return and insertion loss, so cellular, GNSS, and Wi-Fi signals pass essentially untouched. Connections are sma male (plug) to sma female (jack), letting it sit inline between antennas and feeder cables or between coaxial cables and radio/router devices. Construction is brass. Grounding is built into the mechanics. The bulkhead feature mounts and earths the device through conductive earth bars or panels up to 4 mm (0.16 in) thick - the natural fit at an enclosure wall or entry panel - or accepts a heavy-duty earth tag where panel mounting is not available.
