This Cradlepoint package (BE01-1855-5GC-GN, North America) combines the W1855 Series outdoor 5G Wideband Adapter with a 1-year subscription to the NetCloud Branch 5G Adapter Essentials plan. The W1855 is the outdoor-mount sibling of the W1850, built for the sites where indoor adapters lose the signal battle: metal-clad warehouses, buildings with low-E glass, deep interiors, and fringe-coverage locations. Mid-band 5G is particularly sensitive to building penetration - moving the radio outside routinely transforms a marginal indoor connection into a strong, stable one. The W1855 mounts on an exterior wall or mast in a weatherized enclosure designed for year-round outdoor exposure, and delivers the connection into the building over Ethernet cabling to the firewall, router, or SD-WAN appliance the site already runs. Like the rest of the W-series, it is an adapter, not a router replacement: the 5GC modem provides 5G NR with 4G LTE fallback, a 4FF SIM activates the carrier of choice, and the existing edge design stays intact.
