This package combines the router with a 1-year NetCloud Mobile FIPS Essentials & Advanced subscription, covering cloud management, NetCloud OS updates, and 24x7 support in one line item. At its core is an LTE Advanced Pro Cat 18 modem rated to 1200 Mbps with dual SIM slots, so vehicles can carry two carriers and fail between them as coverage changes. Dual-band Wi-Fi serves laptops, tablets, body cameras, and passenger devices; Gigabit Ethernet connects MDTs, DVRs, and other wired systems; and GNSS feeds location into NetCloud for fleet visibility. The chassis is built for vehicle duty — engineered for shock and vibration, powered from vehicle DC with ignition sensing, and expandable with a dock for a second modem when a route demands dual-cellular throughput. This FIPS SKU uses FIPS 140-2 validated cryptography, meeting procurement requirements for federal, military, and other regulated fleets, and pairs the router with both the FIPS Essentials and Advanced plans. NetCloud Manager gives fleet IT zero-touch provisioning, remote configuration, telemetry, and troubleshooting across the whole fleet, which keeps vehicles on the road instead of in the shop for network issues.
