Its 5G NR sub-6 GHz modem (5GC) falls back to LTE Advanced Pro automatically, dual SIM slots keep a second carrier option open, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi serves local clients, and Gigabit Ethernet (4x LAN plus WAN) connects wired devices. The X Series exists because most small sites do not need - or want to pay for - a full enterprise branch router just to get dependable 5G broadband. Retail counters, small offices, franchise locations, and temporary sites get carrier-grade wireless WAN, local Wi-Fi, and wired ports in one compact device, with management handled centrally instead of on-site. This XTM variant ships with a T-Mobile SIM pre-inserted, which makes it the fast path for T-Mobile business internet deployments: power it up, complete activation, and the site is online. The SIM slot remains standard, so the router is not limited to a single carrier over its life.
