The ProClip USA ModTek Hard Case (216444) is an exact-fit rugged case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro. It links the tablet's USB-C port directly to the ModTek Dock, sold separately, for charging and data at up to 5Gbps. Shock-absorbing springs, finger wells and independent third-party testing protect the tablet in the harshest work environments.

The ProClip USA ModTek Hard Case, item 216444, is a rugged, exact-fit case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro. It is the tablet half of the ModTek docking system. The case aligns the tablet's USB-C port with the ModTek Dock, avoiding pogo pins, which are susceptible to dust, dirt, moisture and bending. The connection charges the tablet and carries data at up to 5Gbps, with backward compatibility to USB 2.0 devices.

The case uses a top frame and back plate secured with 10 included screws, with shock-absorbing springs around the tablet. ProClip had ModTek independently tested for thermal shock, forklift vibration (16Gmrs), 20K USB-C insertions and 6 ft drops to concrete. Ergonomic finger wells improve grip. The design leaves buttons, ports, cameras, the screen and the headphone jack accessible. Secure locking channels keep the case seated on the dock, and docking and undocking take one hand.

Every ModTek Hard Case is universally compatible with the ModTek Dock, so fleets running several Samsung rugged tablets can share one dock design. The dock (216410 USB-C 3.1 Dock or 216412 USB-C 3.1 Dock with USB Expansion Hub) and power supplies (216406, 945031, 945032) are sold separately. The case is device specific and is fitted to the bare tablet without any skin, case or screen protector. A T10 Torx screwdriver is required.
