How it works
Many rural homes have only slow DSL or satellite, or nothing. Most 'unlimited' cellular plans throttle heavy home use.

Will this work at my address?
If a phone gets usable signal outside your home, a router with an outdoor antenna will usually do better. Check both AT&T and Verizon coverage.
Directional or omni antenna?
Directional if one tower is far away and you can aim at it. Omni if towers are in different directions or you want an easier install.
Is it better than satellite?
Where there is decent cell signal, 5G or LTE usually has lower latency than satellite, which matters for video calls and gaming.
Is there a data cap?
Unlimited Premium is never throttled. The $75 Unlimited plan runs at full speed up to 300GB, then slows.
Do I need a professional installer?
Not usually. Antennas mount to a pole or wall bracket and connect with coax; a handy owner can do it.
