How it works
A job site has no internet until someone brings it. Wired service arrives late, if at all, and the site moves on after the project. Consumer gear breaks in dust, rain and drops.

Questions
Can I move the internet to the next job site?
Yes. The router and plan go wherever there is cellular coverage; just unplug and reinstall.
Will it power security cameras?
Routers with PoE ports can power cameras directly; otherwise add a PoE switch.
What if the site is far from a tower?
Add a roof or pole-mounted directional antenna aimed at the nearest tower. It usually adds several bars.
Do rugged tablets work with our construction apps?
Yes. Rugged Android and Windows tablets run the same apps as standard tablets.
Can crews use push-to-talk?
Rugged phones like the Sonim XP series have dedicated push-to-talk buttons that work with carrier and app-based PTT services.
