How far offshore will it work?
It depends on antenna height and the nearest tower. Cellular is a near-shore and inland-waterway solution; offshore passages need satellite.
Can I use it at the marina instead of marina Wi-Fi?
Yes. A dedicated cellular connection is usually faster and more private than shared marina Wi-Fi.
Do I need a marine-specific antenna?
Yes for permanent installs: marine antennas are built for salt, UV and wind.
Can I stop service in winter?

What cable should I use?
