How it works

Campground Wi-Fi is shared and slow, phone hotspots drop inside a metal body, and many plans throttle or cap hotspot data. Remote workers on the road need a connection they can count on.

  1. A roof antenna (or booster) picks up the strongest nearby signal.
  2. The router or hotspot shares Wi-Fi throughout the rig.
  3. Plans are month to month, so you can cancel when you stop traveling.

Questions

Will it work at remote campgrounds?

It works wherever there is cellular signal. A roof antenna or booster extends usable range, and Unlimited Premium can use either AT&T or Verizon.

Can I stop service in the off-season?

Plans are month to month with no contract, so you can cancel at the end of the season and start again later.

Does it work in a truck cab?

Yes. A 12V vehicle router with a roof or mirror-mount antenna works in a truck the same way it does in an RV. A hotspot is fine for lighter use.

Hotspot or router: which do I need?

A hotspot is fine for weekends. Full-timers and remote workers get better, steadier speeds from a 12V router with a roof antenna.

Do I need a cell booster?

A booster strengthens signal for every phone in the rig. If you only need internet, an antenna connected directly to the router is simpler.

Can I stream TV and take video calls?

Yes with good 5G or LTE signal. Choose an Unlimited plan so streaming does not hit a cap.
