How it works

Most customers pay by card. When the store internet drops, terminals stop authorizing and the line stops moving. Mobile checkout also fails in dead Wi-Fi corners.

  1. Terminals and POS connect to a small cellular router (as primary or as failover).
  2. Staff tablets use built-in 5G or LTE, so they work anywhere in the store.
  3. Locked mounts keep counter and self-service tablets secure.

Questions

How much data does a card terminal use?

Very little per transaction. A 30GB plan comfortably covers payment traffic for a typical store; streaming, cameras or guest Wi-Fi are what use data.

Can I run my POS on cellular all the time, not just as backup?

Yes. Many pop-ups and small stores run on cellular only. Use Unlimited if the line also carries other traffic.

Is cellular secure enough for payments?

Payment terminals encrypt card data end to end regardless of the connection. Keep payment devices on their own network, separate from guest Wi-Fi.

Which tablet works for mobile checkout?

Any cellular iPad or Galaxy Tab that your POS app supports. Add a card-reader sleeve or mount to match your reader.

Do you sell mounts for self-checkout?

Yes, locked enclosures, floor stands and wall mounts for common Galaxy Tab and iPad sizes.
