No. FirstNet service is provided through your agency's FirstNet account. We sell FirstNet-ready hardware and commercial plans for non-FirstNet use.
What does 'FirstNet Ready' mean?
It is the device maker's statement that the model supports the FirstNet network, including Band 14. We only call a product FirstNet Ready when its listing says so.
Are these devices TAA compliant?
Some are. TAA models say 'TAA' in the product name. Confirm on the listing before ordering for federal or state contracts.
Can I use a commercial plan in a public safety vehicle?
Yes, for non-emergency or support vehicles. For priority and preemption, use FirstNet service.
