Overview

The ProClip USA 712386 is an exact-fit vehicle charging cradle for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 and Tab Active3 in their original skin. Pogo pins give the tablet a durable charging connection, and the cradle is wired directly to a cigarette lighter adapter. High sidewalls keep the tablet stable through normal vehicle vibration. A tilt-swivel base angles the cradle 15 degrees in any direction and mounts to AMPS-compatible ProClip vehicle, pedestal, pipe and forklift mounts or to a VESA 75mm pattern.

The ProClip USA Cig-Plug Pogo Pin Charging Cradle (item 712386) is made for fleets and field teams that run Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 or Tab Active3 tablets in vehicles. The cradle is custom-fit to the tablet in its original skin. High sidewalls help you align and dock the tablet, and they hold it steady through the vibration that is normal in a vehicle. The sidewalls also allow docking only from the front, which protects the pogo pins.

The tablet charges through pogo pins, which give a durable connection for the life of the tablet. The charging cable is permanently attached to the cradle and runs 96 in (243 cm) including the black box to a cigarette lighter adapter rated for 12-24 VDC input. An LED shows when power is on. The USB-C port and headphone jack stay accessible while the tablet is docked.

The tilt-swivel base angles the cradle up to 15 degrees in any direction and can be locked at the angle you choose. The base uses the AMPS pattern, so it works with ProClip vehicle, pedestal, pipe and forklift mounts. It also has VESA 75mm holes, and you can attach it to a flat surface. A locking feature and a top support are available as modular add-ons.

The cradle is made in Sweden from high-grade ABS plastic, and its discreet design fits in with a vehicle interior. The box includes the cradle, an M4 fastener pack and the cigarette lighter adapter. Installation instructions are available from ProClip. To build a complete in-vehicle setup, pair the cradle with a ProClip vehicle mount.
