Key Features

  • Wire the TX64 Rail straight into vehicle DC power without adapter improvisation
  • Lock the router-end connection against vibration with the threaded M12 coupling
  • Prevent mis-mating - T-coding keys the connector to power circuits only
  • Land the supply side your way with unterminated bare-wire leads
  • Reach electrical cabinets up to 5 m from the router mounting position
  • Skip field-terminating the router end - the M12 is factory fitted
  • Keep fleet spares consistent with one documented Digi part

About This Device

Rolling-stock installations do not get to use wall adapters. Power on a train or tram comes from a DC distribution panel, and the connection has to survive years of vibration. The Digi 76002108 makes that connection for the TX64 5G Rail router: a 5 m (16.4 ft) power cable with an M12 T-code female connector for the router end and bare-wire leads for the panel end. M12 connectors are the rail and industrial standard precisely because they screw down - the coupling ring locks the mating and holds it against shock and vibration that would eventually walk a barrel plug loose. The T-coding is keyed for power circuits, so the connector physically cannot be forced onto a data port. At the other end, the unterminated leads let the installer land power exactly as the vehicle's wiring practice requires: terminal block, crimp lug, or splice. Five meters of reach matters in a rail car, where the router's mounting position and the electrical cabinet are rarely adjacent. The black jacket routes cleanly through vehicle channels and looms, and the factory-molded M12 termination removes the field-assembly step that causes most connector failures. Cloud Care Networks stocks the 76002108 alongside the TX64 Rail routers and antenna hardware it supports, so transit integrators can put the full install bill of materials on one order and keep a spare cable on the bench for every fleet.
