Overview

The Wilson Electronics 859119 is a wideband -10 dB tap for WilsonPro cellular repeaters. It splits the signal unequally, with a -10 dB tap port and a -0.5 dB pass-thru port, so two antennas on uneven cable runs receive similar power. It is designed for 600 to 4,000 MHz systems, including C-Band and T-Mobile Band 71. It uses 50 Ohm N-Female connectors and is rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor use.

  • -10 dB tap port and -0.5 dB pass-thru port for an unequal split
  • Designed for 600-4,000 MHz WilsonPro systems, with a 575-6000 MHz band on the spec sheet
  • C-Band, T-Mobile Band 71 and Pro 710i compatible
  • Insertion loss of 1.1 dB or lower; VSWR of 1.30 or lower (600-2700 MHz)
  • PIM of -150 dBc or better; 200 W per port
  • IP65 rated for indoor or outdoor use; 50 Ohm N-Female connectors
  • Replaces WilsonPro tap 859907
  • Balances signal between a near antenna and a far antenna, so coverage stays even across uneven cable runs

The Wilson Electronics 859119 solves a common in-building problem: two antennas at very different distances from the repeater. The tap sends a small share of the signal to the nearby antenna through its -10 dB tap port. The larger share continues through the -0.5 dB pass-thru port toward the distant antenna, offsetting the extra cable loss so both antennas deliver similar power.

The tap is designed for WilsonPro C-Band systems operating from 600 to 4,000 MHz. It supports C-Band and T-Mobile Band 71 and is Pro 710i compatible. Wilson lists it as required when adding C-Band antennas (311245, 311243, 311242) and repeaters to an existing system, and it replaces the previous tap, model 859907. The spec sheet lists 2G/3G/4G/LTE/5G coverage across a wider 575-6000 MHz frequency band.

For RF planning, the spec sheet gives 10 dB coupling with ±1.5 dB accuracy and insertion loss of 1.1 dB or lower. Isolation is 29 dB or better from 575-2700 MHz. VSWR is 1.30 or lower up to 2700 MHz and PIM is -150 dBc or better. The tap handles 200 W per port. It operates from -30°C to +65°C at 5-95% humidity in an IP65 housing. The package measures 7.0 x 3.125 x 1.25 in and weighs 0.89 lb. A manufacturer spec sheet is available.

Ideal for

  • Balancing power between a near antenna and a far antenna on one WilsonPro repeater
  • Long corridor, multi-floor or warehouse layouts with uneven cable runs
  • Adding C-Band antennas and repeaters to an existing in-building system
  • Replacing an older 859907 tap

Questions buyers ask

What is the difference between the 859119 tap and a splitter?

A splitter divides signal evenly. The 859119 divides it unequally: -10 dB to the tap port and -0.5 dB to the pass-thru port. This lets a nearby antenna and a distant antenna deliver similar power despite different cable lengths.

Which port goes to the closer antenna?

The -10 dB tap port feeds the antenna closer to the repeater. The pass-thru port carries most of the signal onward to the antenna farther away.

Should I choose the -10 dB 859119 or the -7 dB 859120?

The -10 dB tap diverts less signal to the near antenna and keeps more on the pass-thru side (-0.5 dB loss). It suits layouts where the far antenna has a much longer cable run. The -7 dB version gives a less uneven split.

Does it support C-Band?

Yes. It is C-Band, T-Mobile Band 71 and Pro 710i compatible, and it is required when adding C-Band antennas 311245, 311243 or 311242 to an existing system.
