Wilson Electronics 970014-10 N-Male 50-Ohm Ring-Flare Connector for 1/2-Inch Plenum Cable (10-Pack)

The 970014-10 packet contains 10 N-Male connectors built for field termination of plenum-rated coax. Each is a 50-Ohm, ring-flare design for 1/2-inch plenum cable, and the connectors are listed as compatible with Wilson's 952003 1/2-inch plenum cable, supplied on a 500 ft spool.

Plenum cable is used where coax runs through air-handling spaces such as drop ceilings, which is common in commercial in-building cellular installations. Bulk plenum cable is cut to length on site, so every run needs connectors fitted in the field. A 10-pack covers five complete cable runs with a connector on each end, or a mix of runs and spares for a larger job.

Wilson states that the connectors work with all of its plenum coax cables but must be installed using the correct Cable Prep Tool, part 992208. Using the matched prep tool gives the cable end the right shape for the ring-flare connector to seat properly, which matters for a consistent 50-Ohm termination. The N-Male interface mates with the N-Female ports common on in-building amplifiers, splitters, taps and antennas.
