The WilsonPro 992204 Crimp Tool is the termination tool for N-type connectors on Wilson's 400-series coax. It uses a hex die and is made for Wilson-400, LMR-400 and LMR-400 Plenum cables. It works with both 50 Ohm LMR-400 Plenum and 50 Ohm Wilson-400 coax, and it is not intended for 75 Ohm RG11.

A hex crimp compresses the connector evenly around the cable, and a matched die is what makes that crimp repeatable. For installers building custom cable runs for signal booster systems, a dedicated crimp tool turns bulk cable into finished runs on site. Each run can be cut to the exact length the route requires, and a damaged connector can be replaced without replacing the whole cable.

Use the 992204 with the WilsonPro 992203 Cable Prep Strip Tool, which prepares the same cable family for crimp or clamp connectors. It fits N-Male crimp connectors such as the Wilson 971109.
