The WilsonPro 992208 Cable Prep Tool is made for one cable: WilsonPro ½-inch Plenum Cable. Wilson designed it to make terminating that cable quick and easy. It strips the cable to the correct length for termination, and it comes with a flare tool as part of the package. It is compatible with the WilsonPro N Male Connector 970014-10.

Half-inch plenum coax is a common choice for longer, lower-loss runs in commercial signal booster systems, where cable must be plenum-rated to pass through air-handling spaces. That cable is stiffer and larger than 400-series coax, and preparing it accurately by hand is slow. A dedicated prep tool that strips to the correct length removes the guesswork.
