The Socket Mobile DuraSled Case (AC4278-3425) is a rubberized case in Cloud for iPhone 16 and iPhone 15. It holds the phone and a SocketScan S840 or S860 barcode reader in one unit, adding drop and scratch protection to both. It also integrates the connectors of both devices so they charge together on a DuraSled Case charger from Socket Mobile. The phone and reader are sold separately.

The Socket Mobile DuraSled Case turns an iPhone 16 or iPhone 15 and a SocketScan 800 Series reader into one handheld unit. This SKU, AC4278-3425, is the Cloud version sized for iPhone 16/15 and is sold as the case only. It suits mobile workers who scan barcodes all day and want the phone and scanner protected in a single housing.

The case is made of elastomeric, rubberized material that improves drop protection and durability for both the iPhone and the reader, and shields both devices from scratches and damaging debris. Socket Mobile lists the SocketScan S840 and SocketScan S860 as compatible readers.

The DuraSled Case integrates the connectors from both devices so the phone and the reader charge at the same time when used with a DuraSled Case charger from Socket Mobile. Without one of those chargers, the phone and the reader must be charged separately. The DuraSled for iPhone 15 measures 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs about 4.2 oz (113.5 g).

The case is a practical choice for teams that already run S840 or S860 readers and are moving to iPhone 16 or iPhone 15, or for adding replacement cases to an existing fleet.
