Overview

The Adesso AUH-1010 is a compact, disc-style Qi-certified wireless charger for business travelers and everyday desks. It delivers up to 10W to devices that support that wattage and charges through cases up to 3 mm thick. A non-slip rubber pad holds the device in place. Automatic overcharge protection and blue/green LED status indicators are built in. It is powered from any USB port using the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.

The Adesso AUH-1010 is a single-coil, disc-style Qi wireless charger built for people who charge on the move. Place any Qi-capable phone or earbud case on the pad and charging begins. There are no connectors to line up and no cable to wear out at the phone. At 189 x 99 x 11.3 mm and 59 g, it slips easily into a laptop bag or travel kit.

Output reaches a maximum of 10W for devices that can charge at that rate. Powered from a Quick Charge 3.0 source, the pad supports 10W. From a Quick Charge 2.0 source, it supports 7.5W. Adesso rates the charge distance at up to 3 mm, so most slim cases can stay on without extending recharge time. The pad accepts 5V/2A or 9V input and is supplied with a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable. That means it runs from a laptop, desktop, USB wall adapter or powered USB hub.

Protection is handled on board. Foreign object detection, temperature protection and overcharge prevention are all included, and the pad switches off automatically once a battery is full. Two LEDs show status: blue indicates quick-charge mode on compatible devices, and green indicates normal charging. The non-slip rubber surface keeps the device from sliding off on a desk, a hotel nightstand or a tray table.
