Overview

The Panorama Antennas C240N-10SP is a 10 m (32.8 ft) cable assembly built from Panorama's CS240 ultra-low loss 6.1 mm double-screened cable, terminated with an N-type male plug on one end and an SMA male plug on the other. Loss is rated at no greater than 0.38 dB per metre at 2 GHz. It is made for 4G/5G and Wi-Fi installations where the antenna sits well away from the router or gateway.

The C240N-10SP connects an antenna with an N-type connector to equipment with an SMA antenna port over a 10 m (32.8 ft) run. Panorama designs its CS240 cable for cellular and Wi-Fi installations that need a longer run of cable. It suits IT teams and installers who mount antennas on a roof, mast or exterior wall and route the feed to a router or gateway inside.

The cable is 6.1 mm (0.24 in) in diameter. Panorama rates its loss at no greater than 0.38 dB per metre at 2 GHz. Impedance is 50 Ω ± 2 Ω at 1 GHz and 50 Ω ± 4 Ω at 2 GHz. The cable is double screened, with a tin-plated copper braid giving at least 93% coverage over a bonded aluminium foil. Shielding effectiveness is better than -90 dB to IEC 61196-1, which keeps the run quiet in electrically busy cabinets and vehicles.

The outer jacket is AlphaGary Megolon S540NS, a low-smoke, flame-retardant material. The cable carries EN45545-2 HL3 and UN ECE R118.03 flammability approvals and is rated for internal and external installations. The operating range is -40 °C to +80 °C (-40 °F to 176 °F). The CS240 stays flexible enough for fixed and mobile applications. Minimum bend radius is 20 mm for a one-time bend and 60 mm for repeated flexing.
