Overview

Panorama's C29FR-SP-3SJ-GNSS pairs 3 m (9.8 ft) of CS29 FRZH low-loss 50-ohm coax with a factory-fitted SMA male connector and SMA female connector. Built on double-screened 5 mm coax with a stranded centre conductor, semi-air-spaced dielectric and a flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket, it keeps insertion loss low so more signal reaches your equipment. Factory-fitted GNSS identification labels make it easy to identify the GNSS feed in a bundle, and the low-loss construction keeps more signal at your equipment.

  • 3 m (9.8 ft) CS29 FRZH ultra-low-loss coaxial cable assembly
  • SMA male connector to SMA female connector, factory-terminated and tested
  • 50-ohm impedance for cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi RF paths
  • Double-screened 5 mm coax with a stranded centre conductor, semi-air-spaced dielectric and a flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket
  • Flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket for fire-safety-rated installs

The Panorama C29FR-SP-3SJ-GNSS is a 3 m (9.8 ft) factory-built CS29 FRZH coaxial cable assembly, fitted with a threaded SMA male plug on one end and a threaded SMA female jack on the other. It is built for GPS/GNSS antenna runs in telematics and fixed installations, where every dB of cable loss comes straight off your link budget. Panorama's CS29 FRZH cable is double-screened 5 mm coax with a stranded centre conductor, semi-air-spaced dielectric and a flame-retardant, zero-halogen (FRZH) jacket, running at the 50-ohm impedance used across cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi RF paths. The FRZH jacket meets fire-safety requirements where halogen-free, flame-retardant cable is specified, without giving up the flexibility of the stranded centre conductor. Because both connectors are terminated and tested at the factory, you avoid the loss and reliability penalties of field crimping. On the equipment side, the SMA jack mates with SMA male antenna leads and device pigtails, including most cellular antenna tails. At the other end, the SMA plug connects to the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways from Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi and Peplink. Factory-applied GNSS identification labels identify the GNSS feed at a glance, which matters once several near-identical black cables share a conduit, headliner or cabinet. Typical uses include feeding a roof-mounted GNSS antenna to a router or gateway with GPS input and fleet telematics installs where the GNSS line must stay identifiable in a cable bundle. Route the cable with gentle bends, avoid crushing it under cable ties, and snug threaded connectors evenly to keep the RF joint consistent. For IT teams and installers, a pre-terminated Panorama assembly is the fast path to a clean, repeatable install: pick the length, match the connectors, and skip the crimp tooling entirely.

Ideal for

  • Feeding a roof-mounted GNSS antenna to a router or gateway with GPS input
  • Fleet telematics installs where the GNSS line must stay identifiable in a cable bundle
  • Timing and location feeds for fixed wireless and IoT gateways
  • Extending a GPS antenna out of an RF-shielded cabinet or vehicle body

Questions buyers ask

Which end connects to my router or radio?

The SMA female end mates with SMA male antenna leads and device pigtails, including most cellular antenna tails. The SMA male end connects to the SMA female antenna ports found on most cellular routers and gateways from Cradlepoint, Teltonika, Digi and Peplink. Check the port genders on your hardware before ordering: a male (plug) cable end mates with a female (jack) port.

Will 3 m (9.8 ft) of cable hurt my signal?

All coax attenuates signal as length grows, but Panorama's CS29 FRZH is a low-loss 5 mm double-screened design intended for exactly this kind of run. Keep the total run as short as practical, avoid unnecessary adapters, and you will retain far more signal than with thin RG174-class jumper cable.

Does this work with Cradlepoint, Peplink, Teltonika or Digi routers?

Yes, as long as the connector matches. Most cellular routers use SMA female antenna ports, which accept an SMA male cable end; Wi-Fi ports are usually RP-SMA. Verify the port type on your specific model, and use an adapter only if the connectors genuinely differ.

What are the identification labels for?

The factory-applied GNSS identification labels mark the GNSS feed so installers can match cables to ports quickly. In multi-antenna installs several identical black cables often run together, and pre-labeled assemblies remove the guesswork at both ends of the run.

What does the FRZH jacket mean?

FRZH stands for flame retardant, zero halogen. If the cable is exposed to fire it resists burning and does not release halogen gases, which is required by many building, transit and vehicle safety specifications.
