Overview

The C2G C2G58881 is a 100W USB-C power adapter for charging Chromebooks, laptops and tablet hybrids at home, in the office or while travelling. Its single USB-C port supplies 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/5A, and C2G has tested it with MacBook Pro, Microsoft Surface Laptop 5, Lenovo ThinkPad, HP Spectre x360 and Dell Latitude models. Foldable AC prongs, a white plastic housing, UL listing and a 5-year warranty round it out.

The C2G USB-C Power Adapter - 100W (C2G58881) is a single-port USB-C charger sized for power-hungry laptops as well as Chromebooks and tablet hybrids. It supports up to 100W through one USB-C female port, with output levels of 5V-3A (15W), 9V-3A (27W), 15V-3A (45W) and 20V-5A (100W).

C2G publishes a compatibility test matrix for this model. Every listed notebook passed, including MacBook Pro M2 Pro, MacBook Pro 2019 Intel, Microsoft Surface Laptop 5, Lenovo ThinkPad L15 and X1 Carbon Gen 6, HP Spectre x360 2023 and Dell Latitude 5410. In C2G's testing a MacBook Pro M2 Pro went from 0% to 85% in one hour, and an HP Spectre x360 2023 charged fully from empty in under two hours.

The adapter is designed to travel. The AC prongs fold away to reduce the risk of damage, and the white plastic housing measures 2.76 x 1.16 x 2.66 in (70.0 x 29.5 x 67.6 mm) and weighs 0.56 lb. Input is 100-240VAC at 50-60Hz, 1.5A max, with standby input power of 0.12W at no load.

Built-in protection covers overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, short circuit and over-temperature conditions. The adapter is UL Listed (E472287), CE marked and carries Prop 65, REACH and RoHS certifications. C2G provides a 5-year warranty, and both a datasheet and a Power Delivery compatibility test matrix are available for this model.
