It is MFi-certified to meet Apple's performance standards and handles charging and data transfer, including syncing music and photos. Belkin rates it to charge an iPhone 14 from 0-50% in 45 minutes when paired with an 18W USB-A adapter.

Belkin tested the cable to survive more than 300,000 bends and 20,000 plug-in cycles. For comparison, Belkin cites 1,000 bends for an ordinary PVC cable. The cable boot, strain relief and jacket use at least 50% post-consumer recycled TPE.
