About This Device

The Panorama DPX-500-700 packs two complementary filters into one inline housing. Fed from a single wideband antenna, it routes 50-500 MHz out of the low-pass port and 700-2500 MHz out of the high-pass port, with the 500-700 MHz gap serving as the guard band that keeps the two paths isolated. The frequency plan is what makes this unit useful in modern installs: the high-pass side covers the core cellular bands from 700 MHz LTE through the 1700/1900/2100 MHz mid-bands up to 2.5 GHz, while the low-pass side carries VHF/UHF two-way radio, broadcast, and similar low-band services. That means a vehicle or site can run, for example, a cellular router and a land-mobile radio from one shared antenna feed — one mount, one cable, two isolated equipment paths. Because the diplexer is passive and bidirectional, the same unit can also combine two feeds onto a single antenna line. Filtering beats resistive splitting here on two counts: each port only sees its own band, and out-of-band energy from one system is attenuated before it reaches the other's receiver front end. The unit uses slim FME connectors compatible with Panorama's mobile antenna cabling and adapter range, weighs roughly 0.35 lb, and installs inline anywhere along the feed. Part number DPX-500-700 from Panorama Antennas.
