Overview

The IOGEAR GearPower 145W Multiport Charger (GPAWC145W) is a compact GaN wall charger with three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. It delivers up to 145W of total output and up to 140W from a single USB-C port for compatible laptops. It can charge a laptop, tablet and smartphone at the same time. Overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit and overheating protection are built in, and a 4ft USB-C to C cable is included.

The IOGEAR GearPower 145W Multiport Charger replaces a bag full of power bricks with one compact GaN adapter. It suits travelling professionals, field staff and anyone who carries a USB-C laptop alongside a phone and tablet. It provides four outputs: two USB-C ports rated up to 140W, a third USB-C port rated up to 45W, and a USB-A port rated up to 18W, with up to 145W of total output.

Used on its own, USB-C1 or USB-C2 supplies up to 28V 5A (140W) for high-draw laptops. When several devices are connected, the charger shares power according to IOGEAR's published port map. With USB-C1 or C2 plus USB-C3 in use, the main port still delivers up to 100W while USB-C3 supplies 45W. With all four ports in use, output is 65W, 30W, 25W and 18W. GaN technology keeps the unit to 3.7 x 2.9 x 1.1 in and 0.80 lb. Built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit and overheating protection safeguards connected devices. The box includes a USB-C to C 4ft cable rated for charging compatible devices at up to 140W, a quick start guide and a warranty card. The charger is covered by IOGEAR's 1 Year Limited Warranty. A USB-A to C cable for the USB-A port is not included.

How much power can a single USB-C port deliver?
