The MNMOM-5F follows the installation logic that makes Panorama's mobile antenna systems practical to fit: mount first, route the cable, then finish the connection. The mount itself is an MNMO-series antenna base that anchors a compatible antenna element to the vehicle or enclosure. From the base runs 5.25 m — a generous 17 ft — of coaxial cable ending in an FME female connector.

That FME termination is the routing advantage. At roughly the diameter of the cable itself, the FME connector passes through drilled grommets, pillar trim, and conduit without the oversized holes a pre-fitted SMA or TNC plug would demand. Installers pull the slim end through the vehicle to the equipment location, then fit the finishing adapter that matches the device — Panorama's CA-series adapters cover SMA, TNC, and other common port styles. One stocked mount serves any radio, router, or telematics unit at the end of the run.

The 17 ft cable length covers long routing paths: roof to rear cargo area in vans, cab to equipment box on trucks, or cabinet top to racked gear in enclosures — installations where the typical 5 m lead comes up short. As with any mount-plus-element system, the antenna element is selected separately for the band in service, keeping the base assembly standard across a mixed fleet.
