The mount itself is an MNMO-series antenna base that anchors a compatible antenna element to the vehicle or enclosure. From the base runs 5.25 m — a generous 17 ft — of coaxial cable ending in an FME female connector. That FME termination is the routing advantage. At roughly the diameter of the cable itself, the FME connector passes through drilled grommets, pillar trim, and conduit without the oversized holes a pre-fitted SMA or TNC plug would demand. Installers pull the slim end through the vehicle to the equipment location, then fit the finishing adapter that matches the device — Panorama's CA-series adapters cover SMA, TNC, and other common port styles. One stocked mount serves any radio, router, or telematics unit at the end of the run.
